How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?

The time on your Fitbit device may be wrong after you travel to a different time zone or when clocks change for Daylight Savings.

If you changed time zones and the time on your device is still incorrect after syncing, make sure the time zone setting is correct:

ClosediPhones and iPads

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab then your profile picture then App Settings thenTime Zone.
  2. Turn off the Set Automatically option.
  3. Tap Time Zone and select the correct time zone.
  4. Sync your Fitbit device.

ClosedAndroid phones

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab then your profile picture then App Settings.
  2. Turn off the Automatic time zone option.
  3. Tap Select time zone and select the correct time zone.
  4. Sync your Fitbit device.

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the account icon thenAdvanced Settings.
  2. Tap Time Zone.
  3. Turn off the Auto option and select the correct time zone.
  4. Sync your Fitbit device.

  1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon then Settings then Personal Info.
  2. Under Advanced Settings, find Timezone and choose your time zone. Time zones offset by the half hour are not supported.
  3. Click Submit and sync your Fitbit device.

  1. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon then Settings then Personal Info.

  3. Click Submit and sync your device.
